  2. Individual Endowments – Individual Endowments are established by specific donors and are allocated with a designated focus. Through the endowment program donors are provided the opportunity to perpetuate an annual award in a Program Area of the donor’s choice.

Donors
Donors may be individuals, corporations or businesses, organizations, or other foundations. All investments remain in the Aubrey ISD Community.

Memorials and Honorariums
Memorials and Honorariums may be directed to the Aubrey Education Foundation in honor or in remembrance of an individual.

Types of Individual Endowments

Full Endowment
A minimum gift of $10,000 is required to provide an average award of $500. The capital amount is invested and the award will be perpetual by the interest collected. There are two ways to create a Full Endowment.

  1. The donor provides at least $10,000 within a one-year period and the award is given an immediate perpetual status.
  2. The donor starts the fund with a minimum of $2000 investment and agrees to continue to contribute over a five-year period, or sooner. The endowment will not be given a perpetual status until the full $10,000 has been contributed.

Term Endowment
A minimum contribution of $2,500 over a five-year period is required to provide a term endowment with an annual award of $500. The donor may contribute the full amount at the time of establishment, or may pay the amount on the award on an annual basis. The endowment is provided only for the length of the term. The endowment may be renewed at the end of the five-year period.
